Due to Hurricane Sandy, the City of Bethlehem chose to postpone the Bethlehem Halloween Parade and 5k. The 5K race will take place this Sunday November 4 at 1 pm. The race will start in front of the Hotel Bethlehem on Main Street. Runners are strongly encouraged to run in costume and prizes will be awarded for various categories. Bear Creek Harvest Wine Festival
Check out Bear Creek’s annual harvest wine festival Sunday October 21st from 1 to 5 pm. Guests will enjoy wine and food samples, live music and seminars. Each guest will receive a commemorative wine tasting glass, event program and have access to a Wine Check service. The list of particpating wineries is pretty extensive and the specialty food vendors that will be there are fantastic. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. According to data released by the Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS® (LVAR) today, year-to-date sales are recorded at 3,837, up 17.4 percent over 2011 year-to-date sales of 3,268.
